Now those efforts will go towards the hard work X-THIRTIEN will face head-on, as they hit the road, leaving their Tampa, Florida base and welcome the opportunity to partner with Chavis Records to release their debut album, 'YOU'RE NEXT'. A new melodic heavy sound engineered by the German/American musicianship that X-THIRTIEN has created.
Passionate, powerful lyrics are placed inside the thick, heavy sound of X-THIRTIEN. Intense meaning alongside the grooves and riffs certainly becomes cathartic to listeners and fans all alike.
The X-THIRTIEN buzz began building last year when the Rock Solid Pressure Show featuring X-Thirtien spotlighted the intensity that swirled around the bands remarkable performance. 'YOU'RE NEXT' – X-THIRTIEN debut CD – became a reality when founding members – drummer Johnny Osborn, guitarist Rollie Feldmann and guitarist Matt Lange launched a summer tour writing songs along the way. Joined onstage by bassist Tracy Ferrell, vocalist Joe Russell and keyboardist/programmer Eric Zvanut the X-THIRTIEN sound became complete.
The album has taken almost a year and a half to write and they have worked on it extensively. The results really show in the music. The demand for the band has been higher after their last tour and crowds keep returning in bigger numbers.
X-THIRTIEN tour dates will begin in 09 throughout the States and may also include shows in Canada, Europe, Japan, South America and Australia.
The tour is only the first step. The group will release 'YOU'RE NEXT' in early 2009 through Chavis Records. The CD has been recorded at the well known Third Stone Studios in L.A., produced by Dana and Justin Walden (Sevendust), Mudrock (Godsmack) with the help of world famous Toby Wright (the man behind some of the biggest bands in the business, including Metallica, Alice n Chains and Tantric). Mixing the project to perfection, James Murphy, (Nuclear Blast, Century Media, Roadrunner, Candle Light, Metal Blade.) a talented producer/engineer, known for creating intense mixes and massive sounds throughout the record industry.
