Hard rock tradition has a unique way of forging ahead reinventing itself and creating an ever evolving empire of music. Such is the case for the new Canadian metal outfit Snake Eyes Seven.
Drawing from a diverse range of hard rock and heavy metal influences, bassist/vocalist Victor Langen (Kick Axe, Pasha/CBS), lead vocalist/guitarist Daniel Nargang (Into Eternity, Century Media), guitarist/madman Cole Stevens (Wrathchild, Canadian Independent), and drummer/percussionist Johnny Bland (Love Hunter, Bob Rock produced material) banded together in May of 2005 to begin writing and rehearsing new material that would define the Snake Eyes Seven sound. Wanting something fresh and uncompromising, yet dark and powerful, the band put their collective talents together to deliver an unheralded style of music.
Blending musical elements of both old school metal and new style metal, the Snake Eyes Seven sound can best be described as vintage Black Sabbath infused with Rammstein yielding powerful rhythms, shrilling guitars and eerie vocals.
The Snake Eyes Seven approach is that of epic proportions and everything is done BIG including their unparallel live shows which include huge flaming snakes, gigantic walls of Marshalls and more lights, smoke and bombs then you can deal with. The idea is not only to captivate the audience but to entertain them as well giving each and every fan a full show and event to remember.
The Snake Eyes Seven self titled debut is being released through Chavis Records in April 2007 and the band is preparing a tour to coincide with the release. Prepare for the strike!
